I bought an apartment. Just signed the deal with the agent last Saturday. Not those high-class, expensive ones, but a small, medium-cost apartment in Sri Damansara.
Cash outflow : Approximately RM700 per month
Cash inflow (from rental) : Approximately RM600 per month (that's the existing rate for the existing tenancy agreement)
So effectively I will be paying RM100 per month and at the end of the day I get to own an apartment. Not that bad a deal I suppose.
Still haven't figure out if I should move in there, or keep it for investment purpose (i.e. collect rental).
Anyhows, its another other milestone of my life.....
